I am an enthusiastic storyteller with a passion for crafting captivating narratives through the art of editing. With a keen eye for the essence of a great story, I start with a solid concept and embrace a collaborative approach throughout production, always with the final cut in mind.
My portfolio features editing work for renowned national commercials, including Ancestry.com, Verizon, Mercedes, Walmart, and Gold Peak Tea. I've also contributed to regional advertising projects like "Faith's Letter," for a pediatric healthcare client, Cottage Care which received three Golds at the 2019 Telly Awards in advertising. In addition, the mini-documentary series "By Design" for Graphicsoft, won the 2018 Communicator Award for Most Effective Campaign Film Gold and the 2018 Summit International Award for Best Branded Series.
Originally from the border town of Nogales, Arizona, with a blend of French-Mexican heritage, I honed my skills in media communications at the University of Arizona. Following an internship in the vibrant landscape of New York City's post-production scene, I moved to Los Angeles in 1993, rising through the ranks at King Cut Editorial, from runner to Assistant Editor, and eventually Editor.
I continue to call Los Angeles, specifically Mid City, my home, and my passion for moving pictures and weaving people's stories into compelling narratives remains my driving force.
